Lake Buena Vista and Disney Springs

Disney's official list of "other select hotels" that share Early Theme Park Entry includes the seven hotels in the Disney Springs resort area:

• DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando
• Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista
• Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
• Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
• Holiday Inn Orlando
• Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista
• Wyndham Lake Buena Vista

The same list adds Signia by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek, the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, Shades of Green and the Four Seasons. Early entry means the park opens 30 minutes before everyone else, every day of your stay, including check-in and check-out days. Disney says the benefit continues through 2027. You still need a valid park ticket.

Two Disney perks these hotels do not get: Extended Evening Hours (Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa hotels plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green only) and free standard theme park parking.

The third gap is Lightning Lane timing. Disney lets its own hotel guests, plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green, buy passes 7 days before check-in for the whole stay. Everyone else, including guests at these Lake Buena Vista hotels, buys 3 days before each park day. For the most popular rides that head start matters more than the 30 minutes of early entry.

Disney's complimentary buses, boats, monorail and Skyliner are for guests of Disney Resort hotels. Hotels outside Disney ownership run their own shuttles, and schedules and charges differ by hotel, so ask before you book. If you drive, standard theme park parking is $35 a day, tax included; preferred spots cost $50 to $60.

The Magic Kingdom time ends at the Transportation and Ticket Center lot. From there you still ride the monorail or ferry to the gate, which is why a Disney hotel on the monorail beats even a close off-site hotel for that park.

The real advantage of this area is the evening. Disney Springs is free to enter and its garages are free to park in, per Disney's parking page. From the resort-area hotels it is close enough to walk or take a short hotel shuttle.

Our Disney Springs evening loop covers the route. The anchors are The Boathouse, The Edison, Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil and the Aerophile balloon. Disney's own buses leave the Disney Springs area until 11 p.m. for guests staying at Disney hotels.

Outside Disney Springs, the area is quiet at night: hotel pools, hotel bars and chain restaurants along State Road 535.

Lake Buena Vista ranges from mid-range chain hotels to the most expensive rooms in Orlando. We did not price every good-neighbor hotel; rates move daily, and each hotel sets its own resort fee and parking charge. For scale, here is what we saw on the official booking pages for December 8, 2026, one night, two adults:

• Disney's Pop Century (Disney-owned value hotel, on the Skyliner): $275 to $318 before tax.
• Four Seasons Orlando: from $1,385 before its $55 resort fee and taxes.

The useful comparison is not rate against rate. A good-neighbor hotel that costs $80 less than Pop Century a night can end up level once you add $35 a day for park parking and the hotel's own parking charge. Price the total, not the room.

Stay here if you have a car, most of your days are at Disney, and you want early entry without Disney prices. It suits families who want more space than a Disney value room for similar money; DoubleTree Suites is the obvious one to price.

Stay on Disney property instead if you do not want to drive: Disney's own value hotels on the Skyliner remove parking and driving entirely. Stay in the Universal area if Universal gets two or more days. The staying on-site page has the full Disney math.
