EPCOT

• Test Track reopened on July 22, 2025 in a reworked version with new scenes and vehicles. The outdoor high-speed lap stayed. Height limit 40 inches.
• Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind dropped its virtual queue on February 25, 2025. It now runs a normal standby line plus a paid Single Pass. Height limit 42 inches.
• Soarin' Across America replaced the world film on May 26, 2026. Disney has not said whether the old film returns.
• CommuniCore Hall and Plaza sits in the middle of World Celebration. It is an indoor hall with exhibits and seating, and the obvious place in the front half to sit out a storm.
• Coming: at D23 in August 2026 Disney said Dreamfinder will return to Journey Into Imagination With Figment. Fan sites expect Spaceship Earth to close for a rebuild, probably in 2027. Disney has posted no date for either.

Early entry at EPCOT covers every ride that matters: Cosmic Rewind, Test Track, Frozen Ever After, Remy's, Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Mission: SPACE and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Which you do first depends on where you walk in.

Main entrance (car, bus, monorail):

1. Cosmic Rewind. It is the one Single Pass ride, so standby only grows after opening.
2. Test Track, next door in World Discovery.
3. Walk the east side of the lagoon to Frozen Ever After in Norway.
4. Soarin' once the morning rush has passed, around 11 a.m.

International Gateway (Skyliner, BoardWalk walkway): you arrive between France and the United Kingdom. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, in France, is a short walk. Ride it first, then Frozen Ever After, then decide whether the Cosmic Rewind line is worth it or buy the Single Pass. Guests at Pop Century and Art of Animation come in this way.

Follow either order and by noon the five rides that build real lines are done or paid for. Everything after that is optional.

Our call: on a normal weekday, skip Multi Pass here. Only one of your three advance picks can be a top ride, and the second-group rides (Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, The Seas) rarely queue long enough to need it. Rope drop two of the big five and pay for Cosmic Rewind if you did not ride it first. Buy Multi Pass on festival weekends, holiday weeks, or if you want Frozen and Test Track with small children who cannot rope drop. Premier Pass at EPCOT is money spent on rides you could walk onto. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs August 27 to November 21, 2026. The Festival of the Holidays follows from November 27 to December 30, 2026. Entry is included with a park ticket. The Eat to the Beat concerts at America Gardens Theatre are included too, with first-come seating.

The food is not. On the 2026 Food & Wine booth menus we checked, single items ran from $4.29 to $17.50. Two examples from the Belgium booth: beer-braised beef with smoked gouda mashed potatoes at $6.79, and a beer flight at $12.75. Portions are tasting size. Four or five plates and two drinks per adult is a normal afternoon, so budget it like a restaurant dinner, not a snack.

About drinking around the world: one drink in every pavilion is a long, hot, expensive afternoon. We did not total a full lap because the menus change by booth and by festival, and we will not print a guessed figure. Pace it with water and food, and remember the monorail and Skyliner lines at 9 p.m. are long. Our World Showcase loop gives a walking order.

EPCOT gets called the grown-up park, but its two most popular family rides have no height limit at all. Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure are both open to any height, as are Spaceship Earth and Journey Into Imagination With Figment. The two thrill rides draw the line: Test Track needs 40 inches and Cosmic Rewind 42 inches.

That shapes the morning. If your youngest is under 40 inches, drop Test Track and Cosmic Rewind from the sprint, or use Rider Switch so one adult rides while the other waits with the child, then swaps without queuing again. Put Frozen first, Remy's second, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk With Crush in the hot hours, since both are indoors. Our Orlando with kids page lists heights across every park.

• Skip the front-half photo stops at 9 a.m. Spaceship Earth is a 16-minute ride that is at its quietest late in the day.
• Skip Mission: SPACE if you get motion sick. It is on the early-entry list, which tempts people to ride it first. Do not trade a Cosmic Rewind or Remy's slot for it.
• Skip dinner reservations you do not need. During festivals the booths are the better meal. If you want one splurge, Space 220 is the one with a gimmick worth seeing, and our page says whether the food matches it.
• Do not save World Showcase for after dark on a festival Saturday. Booth lines are longest in the evening. Eat your main round between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Adults should give EPCOT a full day: rides until about 1 p.m., a break in CommuniCore Hall, World Showcase from mid-afternoon, and the nighttime show, Luminous The Symphony of Us, before the 9 p.m. close. Families with children under 7 will finish the rides and Frozen in six or seven hours; the rest is food they may not care about.

EPCOT is the best park to hop to in the evening, because World Showcase needs no plan and the Skyliner links it to Hollywood Studios.
