Where locals eat on Restaurant Row

YH Seafood Clubhouse, at 8081 Turkey Lake Road, is the only restaurant in the area on Michelin's 2026 Orlando list. The inspectors call its dim sum selection "of particular note", ordered from the kitchen rather than from roaming carts, and single out the sticky pork dumplings. Michelin puts it at a moderate spend.

Michelin lists lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. every day, and says it does not take reservations. The restaurant's own website showed a server error when we checked, so we could not read a menu or prices. Go with a group at lunch. Not for: a quiet dinner for two on a budget you want to fix in advance.

Chef Norman Van Aken, a James Beard Award winner, runs Norman's at 7924 Via Dellagio Way. The cooking is what Visit Orlando calls his New World Cuisine, and the menu prints every price. The best value is the three-course prix fixe at $75, with Brazilian-style conch chowder, Key West yellowtail snapper or Pork Havana, and key lime pie. A la carte, the conch chowder is $19, an 8-ounce prime filet $72 and an 18-ounce rib-eye $100.

Not for: anyone who would rather spend $75 at The Ravenous Pig, where entrees run $28 to $42. For a real key lime pie, though, this is a good table.

Christini's Ristorante Italiano has been at 7600 Dr. Phillips Boulevard since 1984. It serves northern Italian dishes, veal chops above all, every night from 6 to 10 p.m., with complimentary valet and a strolling accordion player. It is the most old-fashioned night out on the Row, and that is the point.

The catch: Christini's publishes its menu without prices. You will not know what dinner costs until you sit down. Book it for a celebration with grandparents. Skip it if you need a number before you commit; Christner's gives you the same era of service with prices on the website.

Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is a Central Florida group with a location at 7600 Dr. Phillips Boulevard and others in Winter Park, Lake Nona and Winter Garden. The dinner menu it posts for its Winter Park and Lake Nona stores lists a mixed grill for two at $55, lamb shanks braised for five hours at $38, beyti kebab at $29 and pistachio baklava at $8. The Dr. Phillips menu may differ slightly; confirm when you book.

It is the Row's best answer for a family: shared plates and a bill well below the steakhouses. Not for: anyone after a destination meal.

Kabooki Sushi, from chef Henry Moso, has a branch at 7705 Turkey Lake Road, open 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with an omakase booked on Tock. Visit Orlando describes Moso as a four-time James Beard nominee.

Be clear about one thing: Michelin's 2026 guide lists the East Colonial Drive Kabooki, not the Sand Lake one. If sushi is the reason for your night, the Colonial branch or Soseki in Winter Park is the stronger bet. If you are staying near International Drive, the Sand Lake branch saves you the drive.

Vines by H, at 7533 West Sand Lake Road, is a steakhouse with a wine-and-cigar list. Its happy hour at the bar, lounge and veranda is the cheapest way to sit on the Row: cocktails $10, wines by the glass $9, beer $8 and oysters $2 each. The happy-hour page says Monday to Saturday, 4 to 6:30 p.m.; the home page says every day. Check before you go. A 20% service charge is added to every check, so do not tip twice.

If you have a car and only one dinner out, Restaurant Row is not where Orlando's best cooking is. Kaya in Mills 50 and The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park are better meals. Our restaurant shortlist ranks all of them.
