Walt Disney World sells date-based tickets: you pick a start date, and the price depends on that date, the number of days and, for a 1-day ticket, the park. Disney's ticket page advertises 1-day tickets from $119 and multi-day tickets from $64 per day, but those are the floor on the quietest dates for the longest tickets. On September 22, 2026 we priced real tickets for two start dates: Monday, October 12, 2026 (a normal fall week) and Monday, December 28, 2026 (the holiday peak). All prices are for ages 10 and up, before 6.5% sales tax.
The short version: a 3-day, one-park-per-day ticket cost $533.54 in October and $568.86 over New Year's week. Park Hopper added $95. Buy from Disney or an established authorized seller, never from a stranger, because Disney's terms tie a used ticket to the person who first used it.

Real prices on two date ranges
These are the totals Disney's own ticket builder showed for one adult ticket. Child tickets (ages 3 to 9) are priced separately and cost a little less; children under 3 do not need a ticket.

A third check, a 5-day ticket starting Monday, December 7, 2026, came to $769.50, or $869.50 with Park Hopper. Early December is only slightly cheaper than October; the jump comes in the last ten days of the year.
On Disney's calendar the per-day price of a 3-day ticket ran $171 to $181 through October 2026, $171 to $188 in November (Thanksgiving week is the top), $177 to $190 in December and $173 to $186 in January 2027. The same calendar showed $139 to $170 for the last week of September, the cheapest stretch we saw.
What the "from" price actually means
Disney's number-of-days selector showed these per-day floors on September 22, 2026: 2 days from $130, 3 days from $127, 4 days from $124, 5 days from $103, 6 days from $90, 7 days from $82, 8 days from $75, 9 days from $69 and 10 days from $64. None of the dates we priced in October, November, December or January came close to those floors for 3-day tickets. Treat them as marketing, not a budget.
Two rules hold whatever the date:
- Longer tickets cost less per day. On October 12 the 3-day ticket worked out at $177.85 a day and the 5-day at $152.79. Days four and five cost $230.41 together.
- Magic Kingdom was the priciest 1-day park and Animal Kingdom the cheapest on both dates we checked, by $20 to $25.
Multi-day tickets have a use-by window. The 3-day ticket starting October 12 was valid on any 3 days from October 12 to October 16; the 5-day ticket starting December 28 ran to January 4, 2027. Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus and the water park option
Park Hopper lets you visit more than one theme park on the same day. It added $95 to a 3-day ticket on both dates, $100 to the October 5-day ticket and $105 to the December 5-day ticket. On a 1-day ticket the hopper version cost $276 in October, which is $77 more than Magic Kingdom alone. Park Hopper does not include the water parks.
The Water Park and Sports Option added $70 on every date we checked (for example $603.54 for the October 3-day). It gives a set number of visits to a Disney water park, mini golf, FootGolf or ESPN Wide World of Sports on event days. Park Hopper Plus combines both and cost $649.04 for the October 3-day ticket.
Whether the hopper is worth it depends on the park. EPCOT at night after a morning at Hollywood Studios uses it well; a family that leaves at 3 p.m. for a nap does not. We run the numbers in Is the Disney Park Hopper worth it?
Where to buy, and who not to buy from
The simplest place is Disney itself: the price you see is the price you pay plus tax, and the ticket lands straight in your My Disney Experience account. Disney also sells tickets inside its vacation packages.
Some long-established third-party sellers offer small discounts on multi-day tickets. Disney's own site did not show a public list of approved Walt Disney World ticket sellers when we looked on September 22, 2026, so vet any seller yourself: check how long it has traded and whether the ticket arrives with a code you can link in the app before your trip.
What Disney does publish is the rule that makes resale risky. Its Ticket Store Terms say each ticket "is nontransferable" and "must be used by the same person on any and all days", and that tickets "may not be resold". Disney's FAQ adds that an unused ticket can be given to someone else, but once one person has entered with it, the remaining days belong to that person. Partly used tickets on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, and "free" tickets tied to a timeshare pitch, are how visitors get burned. Offers, and why they rarely apply
Disney runs limited-time ticket offers, but they tend to cover slow seasons. On September 22, 2026 the tickets page showed a 4-Park Magic Ticket at $399 for four days (valid through September 26, 2026) and a 2-Day, 2-Park ticket at $199 limited to EPCOT and Animal Kingdom (valid through September 30, 2026). Neither helps a trip in October, at Thanksgiving or at Christmas.
Florida residents and Canadian residents get their own offers; Disney listed a Canada resident discount of 25% or more on 4-day and longer tickets. Everyone else should assume the calendar price is the price.
Separately ticketed events are not included in any park ticket: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios (select nights from November 7, 2026 to January 5, 2027) all need their own ticket.
The costs that sit on top of the ticket
Budget for three things the ticket does not cover. Sales tax of 6.5% adds about $35 to the October 3-day ticket. Lightning Lane is optional but widely bought; Multi Pass prices at Magic Kingdom were reported rising to $35 per person per day from October 4, 2026 (see Lightning Lane explained). Parking is $35 a day for standard theme park parking unless you stay at a Disney Resort hotel (see parking fees).
Four tickets at the adult price for the October 3-day come to $2,134.16 before tax (child tickets for ages 3 to 9 cost a little less), then tax, parking and any Lightning Lane on top. If Universal is also on the list, compare with Universal Orlando tickets before you commit your days.

How much is a 1-day Disney World ticket in 2026?
It depends on the date and park. For Monday, October 12, 2026 Disney charged $179 for Animal Kingdom, $189 for EPCOT, $194 for Hollywood Studios and $199 for Magic Kingdom. For December 28, 2026 the same tickets were $184, $199, $204 and $209. All before 6.5% sales tax.
How much does Park Hopper add to a Disney ticket?
On the dates we checked, $95 on a 3-day ticket and $100 to $105 on a 5-day ticket. A 1-day hopper cost $276 on October 12, 2026 and $284 on December 28, 2026.
Do Disney tickets have to be used on consecutive days?
