SeaWorld opened a new ride every year from 2022 to 2025, and the lineup shows it. Height minimums are SeaWorld's own.

Mako is the one to ride first, with Pipeline and Ice Breaker next. Journey to Atlantis and Infinity Falls are the two water rides, with 42-inch minimums; SeaWorld listed Journey to Atlantis as running only 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice, a 2025 flying-theater ride, has a 39-inch minimum. Families with toddlers should head to Sesame Street Land, where Elmo's Choo Choo Train needs 36 inches and Super Grover's Box Car Derby, a junior coaster, needs 38.

The next ride, SEAQuest: Legends of the Deep, a suspended dark ride, was announced for 2026. On September 22, 2026 SeaWorld's own ride page still said "coming soon" with no date. Do not plan a trip around it.

Some readers will not visit a park that keeps orcas and dolphins. Others do not mind. Here are the facts, so you can decide.

• SeaWorld announced on March 17, 2016 that it would end orca breeding, making the orcas in its care "the last generation". The company, renamed United Parks & Resorts in 2024, still owns the park.
• The theatrical orca shows ended in Orlando in 2019. The current show is Orca Encounter, which SeaWorld presents as educational. SeaWorld's FAQ says the park has daily orca presentations.
• The other presentations running in September 2026 were Dolphin Adventures and Flippers, Facts and Fun: The Sea Lion Experience. Paid add-ons include Dine with Orcas, from $34.99, and a Dolphin Encounter at $49.99.
• In March 2025 the U.S. Department of Labor fined SeaWorld Orlando $16,550 after a killer whale injured an employee in September 2024.
• The 2013 documentary Blackfish drove much of the public criticism of orca captivity, and SeaWorld's attendance and revenue fell in the years after it.

SeaWorld also runs animal rescue and rehabilitation programs, which it promotes heavily. We have not assessed them. If the orcas are a dealbreaker, the coasters are not enough reason to go; spend the money at Islands of Adventure or on a Busch Gardens Tampa day trip, which has coasters and no orcas, though it belongs to the same company.

The All-Day Dining Deal gives you one entree, one side or dessert, and one soft drink or iced tea per visit to a participating restaurant, once every 90 minutes, all day. Children get a kid's meal. You wear a wristband and cannot share or take food out. It works at eight counter-service spots: Voyager's Smokehouse, Expedition Cafe, Captain Pete's Island Hot Dogs, Seafire Grill, Lakeside Grill, Altitude Burger, Panini Shore Cafe and Waterway Grill. It does not cover character dining or Dine with Orcas.

How you buy it matters more than whether you buy it:

• Bought on its own, it is $59.99 per adult and $29.99 per child aged 3 to 9.
• Bundled with a single-day ticket, SeaWorld prices it at $40: the ticket-plus-dining option started at $99.99 against $59.99 for the ticket alone.
• On the Any Day ticket the bundle was also $40 more ($139.99 against $99.99).

At $40 for an adult who eats lunch and dinner in the park, plus a snack-size second entree mid-afternoon, it has a good chance of paying off. We did not verify current menu prices, so we cannot give you a break-even to the dollar. At $59.99 bought separately, it only makes sense for big eaters staying from opening to close. SeaWorld's line-skip product is Quick Queue. On September 22, 2026, Quick Queue Unlimited started at $29.99 per person for one day, covering Mako, Manta, Kraken, Ice Breaker, Infinity Falls, Journey to Atlantis and Pipeline. Quick Queue Unlimited Plus with reserved show seating started at $49.99 and adds one-time access to Penguin Trek and Expedition Odyssey. That is a fraction of what Universal charges for Express, and on a busy Saturday it is worth it.

Other ticket types on SeaWorld's store that day:

• Any Day Ticket: $99.99, one visit on any date within six months.
• Two-Day, Two-Park: $100 total, any mix of SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island.
• Three-Day, Three-Park: $135 total.
• 2027 Fun Card: $144.99 for SeaWorld, or $184.99 with Aquatica, with the rest of 2026 included. Blockout dates apply.

If you are going twice, or adding Aquatica, the multi-park tickets beat two single days.

Ticket prices track demand, so the cheapest dates are the quiet ones. In late September 2026, Monday to Thursday dates were $59.99 to $77.99 and Friday to Sunday dates $79.99 to $83.99. October ran higher, topping out at $97.99 on Saturday, October 17.

Fall adds two events. Halloween Spooktacular, a daytime event for children, runs on select dates from August 29 to November 1, 2026. Howl-O-Scream, the adult haunt, runs on select nights from September 11 to October 31, with separate tickets from $47.99 and a day-and-night ticket from $99.99. In spring, the Seven Seas Food Festival is the main event.

Florida afternoon storms stop the coasters. Ride early, save the indoor aquariums and shows for mid-afternoon, and return to the coasters after the rain.

SeaWorld is at 7007 Sea World Drive, where I-4 exit 71 meets Central Florida Parkway, at the south end of the International Drive area. From I-4 westbound, SeaWorld's own directions send you via the Beachline Expressway and International Drive instead.

SeaWorld's FAQ gives parking "starting at $35" with general, preferred and VIP tiers. The prepaid parking product on its upgrades page started at $37 plus tax on September 22, 2026.
