Disney Lightning Lane explained

Multi Pass lets you book up to 3 experiences and arrival windows in one park before your visit. After you use the first (or its window passes), you can add another, one at a time, until regular park closing. With Park Hopper, later selections can be in another park.

At three parks the choices are tiered. At Magic Kingdom you may pick only one of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain and Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and the other two from a longer list that includes Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. EPCOT's top group is Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Test Track; Hollywood Studios' is Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets and Slinky Dog Dash. Animal Kingdom has one list, including Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

Reported price per person per day for October 4 (Magic Kingdom) and October 5, 2026 (other parks): Magic Kingdom $35 (September high: $27), Hollywood Studios $29 (from $20), EPCOT $28 (from $18), Animal Kingdom $19 (from $15). Disney says prices can be higher on holidays. Multi Pass also includes digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass ride photos from that day.

Single Pass buys one entry to one of the most in-demand rides, which are not available on Multi Pass. You choose an arrival window in advance, and you can buy up to two per day.

Single Pass is valid for one attraction only, even with Park Hopper.

Premier Pass gives one entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day, including the Single Pass rides, with no arrival windows to schedule. Disney sells it in limited quantities and it needs a separate transaction from Multi and Single Pass.

Reported prices for October 5, 2026: Magic Kingdom $399, Hollywood Studios $339, EPCOT $229, Animal Kingdom $179, per person. For a family of four at Magic Kingdom that is $1,596 for one day, more than the park tickets. It is for visitors with one day and no flexibility, not for a normal trip.

• Disney Resort hotel guests, and guests at the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green, can buy from 7 days before the first night of the stay, for the whole stay up to 14 days.
• Everyone else buys 3 days ahead. With a date-based ticket, that means 3 days before the first day of the ticket, for all its days at once.
• Sales open at 7 a.m. Eastern Time on your first eligible day.

Before that morning, link everyone in your party in the app's Family & Friends list and make sure each has valid admission. You choose Multi Pass selections for the whole group at once, then change them for individuals later. After purchase you can change the park or date until you redeem your first selection, and change each experience or window until its window starts.

At the reported October prices, Multi Pass adds $140 a day for four people at Magic Kingdom and $76 at Animal Kingdom. It earns that most clearly at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, which have the most tiered, high-demand rides on the Multi Pass lists, and least at Animal Kingdom, which has one short list and the lowest price.
