The elevator ride and the first look out of the "window" are well done. After that you are eating a modern American menu at a theme-park prix fixe. Mains on the current menu include miso salmon, steak and frites (filet is $9 more), a burger, roasted chicken, tuna poke and pad thai. Starters include a Caesar salad, beets, bocconcini, calamari and the Blue Moon Cauliflower, tempura-fried with house hot sauce and blue cheese dust, which is the dish Disney Food Blog singles out as the standout.

None of that is bad. None of it is $79 food either. You are paying for the room.

The Space 220 Lounge shares the space-station setting, keeps the same hours and sells small plates individually, so you choose how much to spend. On the menu Disney published on September 22, 2026: Blue Moon Cauliflower $17, short rib sliders $18, shrimp tacos $18, calamari $19, a lobster bao $24 and a flatbread $28. Cocktails are $17 to $24, with a $36 top-shelf option, and beers run $9 to $12.

Two cocktails and the cauliflower come to about $53 before tax and tip, which buys the whole experience for less than one dinner cover. Disney Food Blog describes the lounge as the more achievable way in than a dinner reservation.

Disney dining opens 60 days out at about 6 a.m. Eastern. Disney Food Blog calls Space 220 one of EPCOT's hardest reservations and notes that resort guests, who can book their whole stay at the 60-day mark, have the edge. Book dinner at 4 p.m. or lunch at 11:30 a.m. and fit it around a day on the World Showcase loop. During the Food & Wine Festival, the booth snacks outside are a cheaper way to eat through the afternoon.

Space fans and children who will talk about the elevator for a week. For adults who care about the food, a $79 dinner here and a $99 dinner at California Grill are different leagues: the Grill has a real view and a better kitchen for $20 more.
