California Grill

One starter, one main and one dessert. On the menu Disney published on September 22, 2026:

• Starters: Sonoma goat cheese ravioli (the long-running signature), Dungeness crab salad, the Spicy Kazan roll, a surf and turf roll, or a flatbread.
• Mains: oak-grilled filet of beef, pork tenderloin with goat cheese polenta, seared market fish, lamb rack, cioppino, or wagyu strip loin for a $47 surcharge.
• Add-ons: tiger prawns $22, lobster tail $28, scallops $20.
• Desserts: citrus cake or vanilla bean crème brûlée.

Order the ravioli and the filet and skip the surcharge. The wagyu takes the dinner to $146 before drinks.

Two adults with one cocktail each: $198 for food, and signature cocktails run $18.50 to $27.50. Add tax and a 20% tip and you are close to $300. A family of four with two children under 10 starts at $282 for food alone. There is also a $149 cocktail made with Louis XIII cognac, which is the most Disney thing on the list.

Compare Jiko, where a starter and the priciest entrée cost $83, or Capa at the Four Seasons, which also sees the fireworks from its terrace.

Disney dining opens 60 days out at about 6 a.m. Eastern, and resort guests can book their whole stay, up to 10 days, that morning. Fireworks-time tables are the ones that go first. Check the Magic Kingdom schedule for your date once Disney posts it, and move your booking if the show time lands somewhere other than you expected. Disney's per-person fee covers late cancellations and changes as well as no-shows, so move it early.

Disney does not say anything on its California Grill page about returning to watch the fireworks after an earlier meal, so do not count on it. Book the table you want to watch from.

Couples and families who want one Disney dinner with a view and do not need characters. If the kids care more about Mickey than the view, character dining is the better $99. If you want the best cooking on property, that is Victoria & Albert's, a short monorail ride away at the Grand Floridian. It costs three times as much and is a different kind of evening.
