Walt Disney World's restaurant pages list twelve character meals in 2026: six inside the parks and six at resort hotels. Disney publishes price bands rather than exact prices on its restaurant pages. Most character breakfasts sit in the $35 to $59.99 per adult band. Most lunches and dinners are over $60. Those bands include non-alcoholic drinks and exclude tax and tip.
Reservations open 60 days before the meal. If you stay at a Disney resort hotel, you can book every day of your stay, up to 10 nights, starting 60 days before you arrive. Every character meal takes a card guarantee and charges a per-person fee if you do not show up or cancel late.

Why breakfast is the smart booking
At six of the twelve, breakfast falls in the lower band while lunch or dinner with the same characters jumps above $60 a head. A family of four can save a meaningful sum simply by moving the reservation to the morning.
Breakfast also fits the park day better. Breakfast at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom starts at 8 a.m., and at Akershus in EPCOT at 8:30 a.m. A mid-afternoon buffet, by contrast, eats two hours of prime ride time. The one exception is Artist Point, which serves dinner only.
Which one to pick
- For princesses: Akershus at EPCOT sits in the lower band at breakfast; Cinderella's Royal Table is over $60 at every meal. Royal Table's selling point is eating inside the castle, not better access to the princesses.
- For a first character meal with small children: The Crystal Palace or Garden Grill (more age-by-age advice in Orlando with kids). Garden Grill also revolves slowly over the Living with the Land ride.
- For a resort morning: 'Ohana or Topolino's Terrace. Topolino's is a plated breakfast on the Riviera's rooftop, with the characters in outfits made for this restaurant.
- Skip if you want table visits: Disney's own description of Chef Mickey's has the characters moving through the dining rooms and waving, with an autographed card at each table.
Hollywood & Vine changes theme through the year: Halloween Dine runs to November 3, 2026, Holiday Dine from November 4, 2026 to January 6, 2027, and Silver Screen Dine from January 7, 2027.
Tickets, fees and the booking window
The six in-park restaurants need valid park admission and, depending on your ticket, a park reservation. See Walt Disney World tickets. The resort-hotel meals need no ticket, which makes Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Cape May or Topolino's useful on a rest day.
Every character meal charges a per-person fee for a no-show or late cancellation; Disney shows the exact amount at booking. Cinderella's Royal Table is stricter. Cancel at least 2 hours before, or you forfeit the full price for each person in the party.
The 60-day window matters most for Royal Table, Akershus and 'Ohana breakfast. Staying on site lets you book the whole trip on one day, which is one of the real perks covered in is staying on Disney property worth it.
