Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil

The story follows Julie, a girl who finds an unfinished animation left by her late father and a pencil that seems to guide her. Her memories of Disney films frame the acts. You will recognize characters and music, but this is a Cirque show first: aerials, acrobatics and physical comedy, with Disney drawings projected and brought to life around the performers.

That balance is why it works for mixed groups. Children get the recognizable characters. Adults get Cirque-level acrobatics, not a character show. Disney lists no height or age limit.

The most common mistake is planning a Monday or Tuesday Cirque night. There is no show on either day. The 2027 schedule also has dark periods of January 12-16, March 3-4 and May 5-18. In 2026, the show went dark in blocks in January, March, May, June, August and September, so assume more breaks will appear on the calendar.

The Disney page for the show said "No performance today" when we checked on a Tuesday. Book on the Cirque du Soleil site, which sells the tickets, and confirm your date there.

Cirque sells tickets by category, with the cheapest seats starting at $69. The site does not list the full category price ladder until you pick a date, so we cannot give you the top price. Compare two or three dates before you buy, because prices vary by performance.

For children under about 8, the 5:30 p.m. show or a Sunday matinee is the kinder choice. The 8 p.m. show ends around 9:30 p.m.

The Page to Stage Signature Experience adds premium seats, a backstage tour after the show, a meet-and-greet with performers, a VIP lanyard and gift, and a $25 merchandise voucher. Its price is shown only at checkout. It is worth it for a Cirque superfan, not for a first visit.

Standard self-parking at Disney Springs is free. The Watermelon Lot sits right by the theater, and the Orange and Lime garages are the main alternatives. Disney asks guests with a show booking to arrive at least an hour early, and up to two hours early at holidays, because of traffic.

From a Disney hotel, the free buses to Disney Springs remove the parking question. From Lake Buena Vista hotels it is a short drive or rideshare. Pair the show with dinner and the Disney Springs evening loop, or see the Aerophile balloon on the way in.

Disney sells an Animated Evening dining offer that pairs a meal at one of several participating Disney Springs restaurants with a show ticket, before or after the performance. It saves planning more than money, so compare it with booking the two separately.

Groups of 10 or more get special rates through Cirque's Orlando sales team. You can also buy at the Cirque du Soleil box office on the West Side, which takes cash as well as Visa, American Express and Mastercard. Disney says guests under 18 need a parent's permission to book by phone.
