Stella Nova is one of Universal's Prime Value hotels, built beside Epic Universe at 4500 Epic Boulevard. Universal's page says the park is accessible via walking path or complimentary shuttle. That is the reason to stay here.
On Universal's reservations system on September 22, 2026, the lowest room was $225 for November 17 and $367 for December 8, two adults, before 12.5% tax. That is $274 and $132 less than Helios Grand, the hotel with its own entrance into the park.

- Volcano Bay: a dedicated bus route, though Universal says the water park closes for maintenance from October 26, 2026 until on or before April 1, 2027.
The practical upshot: for an Epic Universe day, this is nearly as good as Helios Grand. For Islands of Adventure at rope drop, you depend on the shuttle timetable, and a hotel on the original walking network such as Cabana Bay is easier.
Perks, and what is missing
Stella Nova gets the standard Universal hotel set: Early Park Admission up to an hour before opening at one park, free transport, charging to your room key and free delivery of park purchases to the hotel. On September 22, 2026, Universal listed early admission dates through September 30 at Islands of Adventure and at Epic Universe (select attractions in Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk and Celestial Park).
There is no Express Pass. Universal's free Express Unlimited is limited to Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific, and it is not valid at Epic Universe anyway. For Epic Universe, Express is a separate purchase whatever hotel you choose; see Express explained.

Note the December jump: Stella Nova rose $142 between the two dates while Cabana Bay barely moved. Price your own dates. Universal adds 12.5% tax; we found no separate resort fee. Self-parking is $30 a night plus tax. Day visitors pay $65 to park here, so it is not a cheap back door to Epic Universe.
Terra Luna, the other Prime Value hotel on Epic Boulevard, was cheaper on both dates, but Universal's benefits page lists the Epic Universe walking path for Stella Nova, not for Terra Luna.
The hotel itself
Universal describes a space-themed design and a resort-style pool with a kids' splash area. Like the other value-tier hotels, it is built for sleeping between park days rather than for spending a day at the hotel. The Avis desk in the lobby is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. if you pick up a car for a Disney day.
Evenings here are quiet. For restaurants and bars, CityWalk is a shuttle ride away.
Who should book it
Book it if Epic Universe gets one or more full days and you want to walk to the gate, especially for a split stay: two nights here for Epic Universe, then move to Cabana Bay or Portofino Bay for the original parks. A hotel move eats part of a day, so schedule it on your lightest one. Skip it if your trip is mostly Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. More in the Universal area guide.
