Helios Grand, a Loews hotel, is built into the edge of Epic Universe and overlooks Celestial Park. Universal's page lists its headline perk exactly: a dedicated entrance to Universal Epic Universe, with the note "separate theme park admission required and not included."
On Universal's reservations system on September 22, 2026, the lowest room was $499 a night for both November 17 and December 8, two adults, before 12.5% tax. It is in the Signature Collection tier, but it does not come with the free Express Unlimited that the other expensive Universal hotels include.

What the Epic Universe entrance actually gives you
A shorter walk and a quieter way in. You still need a ticket for Epic Universe, the entrance does not include any ride priority, and it does not change the park's hours. What it does do is make a midday break at the hotel easy, which is the best argument for staying here with children.
Like every Universal hotel, Helios Grand gets Early Park Admission: up to an hour before opening at one park, select attractions. On September 22, 2026, Universal listed early admission dates at Epic Universe through September 30, for select attractions in Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk and Celestial Park.
No Express Pass, and why that matters
Universal's benefits page names only three hotels with free Express Unlimited: Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific. Helios Grand is not one of them, and Universal's Express benefit is not valid at Epic Universe anyway. If you want to skip lines at Epic Universe, you buy that separately, whatever hotel you stay at. For Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure days, Helios Grand guests take a shuttle bus to the CityWalk hub. That is the same arrangement as the cheaper hotels, and slower than the walking paths from Cabana Bay or Portofino Bay.
The Volcano Bay bus will have nowhere to go for a while: Universal says the water park closes for maintenance on October 26, 2026 and reopens on or before April 1, 2027. In those months, the hotel's case rests on Epic Universe alone.
The comparison that decides it

That is $132 to $274 a night for the private entrance and a nicer building. Over a three-night stay, the gap buys a lot of separately purchased Express.
Fees, rooms and extras
- Parking: overnight self-parking $36 and valet $45 a night, plus tax. Day guests pay $125 to self-park, so it is not a cheap way into the park for non-guests.
- Tax: 12.5% per night. We found no separate resort fee.
- Rooms: standard rooms, Club Level (private lounge, continental breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres, concierge) and suites for up to four with a rollaway. Pack and plays are free; rollaways are $35 a day plus tax.
- Cancellation: free six or more days out; within five days, one night's room and tax.
- On site: restaurants and a rooftop bar with views over Epic Universe.
Who should book it
Book it if money is not the constraint, Epic Universe is the whole point, and you want to walk back for a nap. Skip it otherwise: Stella Nova for Epic Universe days, Cabana Bay for the original parks, or Portofino Bay if you want Express included. More in the Universal area guide.
