Lake Eola Park

The City of Orlando's rental page lists these terms, checked September 22, 2026:

• Price: $15 for a 30-minute rental.
• Capacity: up to five people, with a 1,400-pound weight limit per boat.
• Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Mondays. Last rental 30 minutes before close.
• Payment: debit or credit card only.
• Booking: none. First come, first served, weather permitting.
• Access: a wheelchair-accessible boat is available; pets and service animals are welcome.

The dock is at 195 North Rosalind Avenue on the west side of the lake, across from Relax Grill. Pedaling is slow work in summer heat. Go before noon or after 5 p.m., and split the $15 between four or five people for the best value in the park.

The 0.9-mile loop takes about 20 minutes at an easy pace. It passes the Walt Disney Amphitheater on the west shore, where the city hosts concerts, films and plays, two playgrounds (one for ages 2 to 5, one for ages 5 to 12) and the view of the Linton E. Allen fountain in the middle of the lake. The city does not publish a fountain show schedule on its park page.

The Orlando Farmers Market runs every Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the corner of East Central Boulevard and North Eola Drive on the lake's east side. The market's site notes that weather can delay the opening. Leashed dogs and cats are welcome on leashes no longer than 8 feet.

It is a local vendor market rather than a tourist show. Combine it with a swan boat, since both run on Sunday, and with brunch in Thornton Park, a five-minute walk east.

There is no park lot. You have three choices, all with City of Orlando rates:

• Street meters: in the downtown core, $1 an hour, payable Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., on Sundays and on city holidays. Check the posted signs, since not every street around the lake is in the core zone.
• City garages: $2 an hour with a $15 daily maximum ($1 for the first 30 minutes). Evening diners' rate $6 flat for entry from 6 to 10 p.m.; $10 flat after 10 p.m. Event nights are $10.
• The Library Garage at 112 East Central Boulevard is a city garage open 24/7, about a five-minute walk west of the swan boat dock.

The city has approved the first phase of a Lake Eola renovation, estimated at $30 million. News 6 reported in May 2026 that it covers seawall and drainage work, moving the swan boat dock closer to Lake Eola House, and a new walkway behind the amphitheater. The city has not published a start date or a list of closures. If you see fencing along the shore, that is why.
